The artisans who created Beni Ouarain Moroccan  Area Rug in the past were the Berbers in Morocco. These would be handmade by them. These riches were also carried by them. They exchanged their lambskins for new wool whenever they relocated. They produced rugs with the new wool. They marketed these to guests in addition to using them for themselves. These rugs were made according to a simple tradition. All they did was cover other items or clothing with them for decoration. As mentioned, the wool used to make these carpets is hand-spun and hand-knotted. Like all of the rugs we offer, their purpose is to enhance comfort and beauty.
